I finally managed to get the housing of and replace the thermostat since I only just now got the proper tools. Unfortunately the thermostat was, although being 21 years old, still in near mint condition. I did replace it and check the old one, but it did open and close properly when heated to 90 C ...

Thank you both. I will check the Ohm value's of the ECT and replace it if it's bad. I will report back as soon as possible wether or not it was the ECT. I will go for the Valeo sensor along with the Wahler stat if I end up replacing them.

A7: 113, 122.

The only one of interest to me seems the temperature sensor code, but the temperature on the dashboard gets up to 3 o'clock.

The only sensor on that hose is the 2 pin temperature sensor from siemens.

But where would the MAF be located if the sensor at the end of the airfilter is a temperature sensor?

I checked the engine bay and indeed, I have an MAP sensor above the radiator fan. This apperantly means I don't have an MAF.
