Do you have the factory harness? I had one installed on my 850 and later transferred it to my 98 V70 XC (different hitch because of XC). I must have the wiring diagrams on a different computer somewhere. The factory harness does indeed connect right into the tail lights. I'll see what I can find or...

So, in the twilight of my car's years, I see no reason to keep my Cross Country from ever leaving the pavement or ever being in harsh road conditions since I live in Orange County, CA. Of course I live in Orange County, so that's a tough one to avoid..
It needs a handful of other things worked on, so when it becomes roadworthy enough, I'll see if it can be cleared with repeated driving....
