Would pulling the before mentioned fuse (fuel pressure) generate fault codes?

Oil pump priming. V70 2008, 2.4d
I've been repairing my V70, no repair possible outside in winter, so the car has not been started for about a year. Amongst other things I've replaced the front crank seal after first removing the oil pump. So, the oil pump is now dry as a bone, and I'm wondering how long it would take the oil to tr...

Oil Pump - Mystery part
V70 2.4d engine. I'm about to replace the front main crank seal, oil pump gasket and O-ring, so I took the oil pump out and decided to check for sludge. I opened it up and started to clean it with brakeclean, and BINGO,-a small part that looked like a rivet of sorts fell out. Of course, I couldn't t...

Re: Excessive intermittent vibration
I have recently replaced the timing and aux belt plus rollers and tensioners. Doing this I had to take off the harmonic balancer and the four smaller bolts and the center nut were torqued to spec when putting it back on. I reused the four smaller bolts but later I ordered new ones, so I guess I shou...

Excessive intermittent vibration
Volvo V70, 2008, 2.4d front wheel drive. On my way to town the whole car suddenly started vibrating excessively making a loud BRRRRR-sound. The vibration was not at all like an unbalanced wheel. It seemed like coming from the front on the passenger side. I engaged the clutchpedal and the vibration/n...

Re: Volvo s40 1.8 16v cabin heat problem
Since you have manual aircontrol I'm not sure how it works, but I would think you have a temperature knob that controls a servo motor which in turn controls the flap between the warm and cold ports. Between the motor and the flap is an arm. Check that the arm is where it's supposed to be. It can be ...

Re: 2001 Volvo S40 Stalled out and now won't start
The wiring for the cam sensor seems OK and away from the ignition system. Yes, extended cranking will wet the spark plugs and wash the cylinders free from oil. If that happens the compression will be low or lost completely and the engine won't start. If the starter motor goes high speed and runs eff...

Re: 2001 Volvo S40 Stalled out and now won't start
Don't throw any more parts on it. Before you even think about buying a new fuel filter establish once and for all whether you have the correct fuel pressure or not. Buy a cheap foot pump at Walmart, I'm sure they sell those. See pic below: https://s20.postimg.cc/ejdv182jx/27-514_xl_1.jpg Unscrew the...

Re: 2001 Volvo S40 Stalled out and now won't start
6 at RX10= 60 ohms. If this is good or bad I don't know. Regarding the error code that won't go away after replacing crank and cam sensors . . . this error code can be generated by extended cranking. So, if you cranked the engine for extended periods before replacing those sensors the code in questi...
