Re: P2 V70 Misfire on 1,2,3 - bad coil ground bolt
This is a right hand drive car so the issue will be removing the glove box compartment. I have seen Robert DIY's method on the LHD cars, he bends the heater matrix out and in. No it doesn't look like fun although I might be lucky in just replacing the O rings on the pipes where they join the matrix....

Re: Misfire on 1,2,3 - V70 P2 T5
Thanks, I found the earth bolt for coils 1&2 loose, I didn't see it before as it was hidden by the oil breather hose jubilee clip. I have cleaned it all and tightened it, it seems fine now. At least the motor got a new set of plugs!

Re: Misfire on 1,2,3 Help!
Fitted new spark plugs, reset the fault codes, then similar faults reappeared with a rough idle:
PO351 Powertrain Ignition Coil B primary/secondary circuit
P1353 Powertrain Ignition Coil Cyl 2

P2 V70 Misfire on 1,2,3 - bad coil ground bolt
I did a heavily laden first 600 mile drive on my new old V70 P2 T5 250bhp, it ran really well, delivered 33 mpg, the only issue being it seems to have drained some coolant into the passenger footwell, although the expansion vessel hasn't dropped much. Yesterday I started up to drive 25 miles and it ...

Re: 2000 v70r mystery misfire/hesitation
This might sound daft but I was having similar problems on my recently acquired V70 P2 T5, today when it did its trick it also stalled on stopping. It had blown off the output pipe from the intercooler, I hadn't tightened it enough. It has made me think the problem is boost air escaping on hard acce...

850 Estate Roof Trim Clips
Hi, some vandals pulled off the roof strips on the 850 T5 estate my Dad has owned since new. He tells me that Volvo in the UK don't sell the clips for the trim any more and he can't refit the trim as a result. We can't understand why anyone would wish to damage a Volvo in this way. Please could anyo...

Re: Big Flat Spot / No Boost Mid Range T5 P2
Well I can't see anything visibly wrong with the vacuum pipes, they are not broken or badly cracked. What does the device with the electrical connector do attached next to the fan with the tube running down to the front of the engine?

Thanks for the advice. I had to put in about 7 litres though so I think it was empty.

Re: Big Flat Spot / No Boost Mid Range T5 P2
I wonder if its the turbo valve fitted to the airbox? I replaced one vacuum line from the IM as it was in pieces, but the other pipes looked OK...... I'll replace all the vacuum pipes tomorrow and see if there is any difference....

Big Flat Spot / No Boost Mid Range T5 P2
Well I've driven the V70 P2 T5 twice since the PCV system service, oil change and coolant change, and brake service. On hard acceleration it is as if there is no turbo in the mid range, but if I lift my foot from the accelerator, it seems to pick up better. This car is a recent purchase. I know ther...
