Holy thread resurrection, I know, but I'm having the exact same issues with a 2005 VR that I just bought and I cant seem to figure it out. Before I just go and start buying a replacement HU, etc. I wanted to see if there was ever any resolution to these issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated....
