Hello all, I have a '98 v70 awd and it seems as if the cluster is dead. The tach works but the other gauges dont. I thought maybe the instrument cluster it self is bad but I see the gas gauge move just a bit when i turn the key. Also bought a scan gauge tool to monitor my gas/trip/speedometer but it...

Also got these gabriel front struts installed and in the process ended up messing up the sway bar link so i replaced those too. Out with the old leaky ones. 20170418_143550.jpg 20170418_171902.jpg 20170416_122353.jpg Look like good quality and easy to install, plus lifetime warranty. Only thing i di...

Re: New to me V70, couple questions...

As for the sunroof, Klausc is right nothing to service underneath the head liner, i thought the cable thing was binding to something underneath but it wasnt. It would not move either way or tilt up i pulled really hard on both si...

No tilt. It just clicks and torques a bit and then stops. The sunroof wouldnt even move with the motor out. So I noticed the little cables that im assuming move the sunroof were full of lint like materiel. Cleaned them and nothing. 20170410_175313.jpg So i started to pull the headliner but now i can...

Re: New to me V70, couple questions...
Parts are on the the way and coming... The ignition and key assembly arrived yesterday and I was having trouble getting the shear bolts off. Any ideas guys? Got the ones out of the new assembly by using a large vise grip and wrench for torque. 20170331_114348.jpg 20170331_114339.jpg How am I suppose...
