quick question for anyone... does my 04' T6 have a CAM position sensor or a CRANK position sensor or are they one in the same? the only sensor like that i located on my engine was not located on the transmission ?

thanks all for the commentary; in the case of my misfiring while cranking my tach stays fixed on zero while cranking - no bouncing. This vehicle has not had any repairs where engine or trans where ever removed or separated. Fan does not run at key position II when engine is cold. this may not mean a...

yes, misfire accurately describes my starting issue. engine or outside temperature does not seem to make a difference in my situation. my misfire symptoms are only when cranking, goes away and runs smooth once it starts. does seem to take a second or two longer to start than before the issue began. ...

recent issue with 147K mile '04 xc90 2.9L T6 when starter is engaged... sounds like car is chugging/struggling to start but once it does start it runs just fine.
