1982 240 GL 2-door Windshield wipers will not shut off unless I pull the fuse. Prior to this, the intermittent speed would not work, but everything else was fine. Question is, should I start with the switch mechanism or is it a relay?? Thanks, Bynks

You better believe it! I always tell people these cars run on willpower, not gas and oil! Threw some injector cleaner in the tank when I got to NC, did seem to help on the way back. She does sound a little "breathy" so maybe vaccuum leak or something of the sort isn't out of the question.....
