yes. if you get the position wrong (atleast on the heat servos) they just do anything (tried that you see).

yes. took the servo of the HVAC box and tested the function of the servo with the heat high/cold. the servo moved with no issues or sounds

i've had the driver side servo out and it worked with no issues (unloaded atleast, kinda hard to see when its bolted to the flapper)

so... apparently i get tons of flow when i select full cold on the ECC.. no flow restrictions...

would actually make more sense to me to buy the scantool then it is to have the dealer do it :). its about the price for one hour anyways.

yeah, seems that "we've" done good this Olympic (i don't watch too much as it does not interest me at all :) )

yeah. i've seen that on the intewebz. but what i've read my car is to old to be used with vida.

and the chinese knock-offs are a bit picky on the OS version.

but would it work with my 99 D5252T?

got the new fan today. and installed it (fast and easy job this). but still no better. got rid of the squeeling noise that the old one made. but i still don't think the flow is adequate. starts off good when car is started cold. but slowly ramps down. is the fan only voltage regulated? with the ECC ...

The 2 servo motors that are mirrored either side of the center dash section control the amount of air and therefore the temperature to each side of the passenger compartment. no flashing on the ECC. if remove any of the temp sensors it starts flashing as you say
