Fuel filter is new BOSCH fuel filter. Fuel pump is NEW BOSH fuel pump. Relay is NEW as well. at this point 3 reputable shops have looked at it and they all seem to think its due to the timing. 99 s70 glt 2.4 turbo. cam sensor plugs in rite under intake manifold and goes into the rear of the head. crank sensor is on top of trans and connects at the same spot the cam sensor does to a bracket under intake manifold.

yes the code comes back as soon as you clear it. i can clear it and go read codes and its already set.

i agree the timing does have to be done. it has 76k miles and due to the age i know that the belt is due to be changed. I am going to replace the belt and water pump but i have to come up with a tool to hold the cams. I really do not want to order one that i probably am only going to use one time.

i agree with you 100 %. But from research this model and it being turbo. There is a FUEL DAMPER But no fuel pressure regulator. The check valve on the fuel pump should be good as its a brand new pump.
