I was thinking about that, but then I thought of search engine results for other people looking for answers to each specific problem... so I broke them up. I find it annoying to look for an answer to one thing and find that the question was asked about 10 things and my question wasn't answered. Next...

98 V70 - Red overspray near power steering tank?

Does this paint indicate body work or was that bracket on when the car was originally painted? Seems strange for it to be oversprayed... seems very un-Volvo.

Thanks,

Jim

98 V70 - Need wiper piece... whole thing or just a part?

Here's the pic:

Do I need to buy the whole wiper or just a cap to cover the nut?

Also, this wiper seems to stick in the up position quite often... Any ideas?

Thanks,

98 V70 - Electrical tape around unknown part...

Me again... Hope y'all don't mind all my questions. There is this part under the hood near the main fuse box that looks to be held together with electrical tape. I'm not sure what the part is and if it is strange that it is taped up. http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/918/p7250719zp7.th.jpg Any idea...

98 V70 - Front Door Lights?

I found a light attached to a cable kicking around inside my passenger door... looks like there's a little body damage to the door, and that's why it fell out. http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/6375/p7250716ew5.th.jpg I've since removed the light just to do away with the rattling. On the driver's s...

98 V70 - Vinyl by door latch coming un-done...

My guess is that I'm not the only one who has seen this. Any clues on how to fix it?

98 V70 - Unknown part?

I'm new to this whole Volvo thing... not completely new to cars, just have not ever done a lot of my own work. Can someone tell me what this is? http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/4434/p7250709es0.th.jpg I thought it was the horn, but now I think these are the horn: http://img514.imageshack.us/img51...

Thanks... I could not find a socket that fit... and it seems like it has a plastic coating over it. When I try to turn it w/ pliers, the plastic just scrapes. They must have really torqued it down! http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/8130/p7250706vp5.th.jpg Any other ideas on how to get it off? Thank...

98 V70 - Rotting Air Intake Duct (For ECU Cooling) **Pics**

While trying to get my low-side a/c port open, I found this hose that was rotten-thru... Not knowing what it was, I took the part number (3545307) off it and googled it. Turns out this particular piece has a new part number: 8619305. And you can get them for about $14 from this site: http://www.fcpg...
