Re: Very low use/low milage 2007 XC70, need upkeep pointers
The water pump is generally replaced every second belt by Volvo dealers here in Sweden regardless if the belt is replaced due to age or mileage. The timing belt is 120000 miles or 10 years. While it's correct that the power steering fluid doesn't have a replacement interval it doesn't hurt to repla...

Authentic sachs strut bearings
I plan on replacing the original strut bearings with sachs strut bearings on my 03 s60 2.4t. On Carid.com they are $20.04 + 14.20 shipping each. Many other places I've visited have these for much more so is there a chance these are knock offs? Also the description says they are front lower strut mou...

Re: Intermittent Starting Issue with Excessive Cranking During Cold Weather
GI on YouTube and watch scotty kilmer YouTube videos. If you look through his videos he has a video for cars with your problem. It's most likely the fuel system and maybe clogged fuel injectors because an engine need's more fuel to start when it's cold. Seriously go on YouTube and go through scotty ...

Trailer hitch
Hey does anyone know if the trailer hitch from the v70 and xc 70 or any other models will fit on my 03 s60 2.4t that are the same years as mine? Also is the computer involved in any way? Thanks in advance!

Re: Max tire width
I was talking to a guy which may have given me inaccurate information, however he said that 245 would be too wide for the s60? I'm really wanting to put 235 40 17 on the front and 245 40 17 on the back

Max tire width
Hey I was wondering what the max tire width was for an 03 s60 on both the front and back. I have 225/45/17 tires on all four right now but I need new tires and I want to get some as wide as possible. I know the ones on the back can be wider than the front since the front ones turn so what's the wide...

Re: One bottle of Toyota T-IV in a transmission with original fluid
According to Vida you're not supposed to reset the adaption and if you do there's a quite a long adaption driving cycle described to get it back on track. I think the primary logic of this is to avoid the adaption driving cycle and instead let it adapt slowly during normal driving adaption. You sho...

Re: One bottle of Toyota T-IV in a transmission with original fluid
Lifetime fluid is a farce. Also, I am unsure why you would only want to replace 1 - 4 qts of fluid at a time. There is absolutely no harm in giving the system a full flush. My S40 has the same transmission - different valve body, but same transmission - and I do full flushes on this car every 50K m...

Re: One bottle of Toyota T-IV in a transmission with original fluid
I love these SPECIFIC threads. The subject has been around so long I'm surprised nobody has crafted the responses into a chart. Honestly, the errors mentioned-then the corrections-then the unexplained omissions make these threads hard to read. I maintained a 2002 Volvo V70 and a 2002 Saab 9-5 Linea...

Re: One bottle of Toyota T-IV in a transmission with original fluid
Yeah ive read alot that it's the same spec as 3309. And that's what I was gonna do but the article I included in my post threw me off so I'm still kinda in the air about the whole thing.
