Re: Has anyone had good luck with the aux in stereo mod?
Just want to comment that I tried the Nulaxy Bluetooth 5.0 FM Transmitter for Car, QC3.0 & Type-C PD 18W Wireless Bluetooth Radio Adapter Music Player/Car Kit with Hands-Free Calls, Siri Google Assistant, Bass Booster – NX12, after reading about it in this thread. Currently using it in my 1998 V70. ...

Re: 1999 S70-GLT Radiator Replacement Need Advice
Top picture is at the 12 o'clock position, post installation looking from the driver's side along side the head. Lower picture is the original 3 o'clock position all relative to looking down from the top of the engine and referencing the ETM connection to the induction pipe.

Re: 1999 S70-GLT Radiator Replacement Need Advice
Just wanted to give an update on the radiator removal. I did drop the intercooler, radiator and fan out the bottom. When I tried to lift them up i could not clear the lower AC hose attached to the sub frame. I finally looked carefully at the hard plastic induction air pipe that was the original obst...

How is the fuel pump holding up? Any problems? Looks like my 200K+ mile 1998 v70 might need a new pump. Thanks

Re: When is it not worth fixing?
As far as headlights go I was able to find 2 different sets of headlights for my 1998 V70 and 1999 S70 at the PnP yards near my home. Each assembly is $30.00 at the yard. The V70 got a pair of OE assemblies from a 2004 C70. This is the first year for jewel "clear" non fluted reflector assemblies and...

Re: 1999 S70-GLT Radiator Replacement Need Advice
Thanks for the tip. I was lucky this time and with PB blaster soaking for 2 days I removed the nuts from the radiator ears. The bolts are till mounted. The bottom bolts that create the sandwich are totally frozen. They will have to be cut and replaced.

This pipe extends to the left under the manifold and take a sharp 90 turn towards the radiator fan where is connects to the inter-cooler hose. This pipe block...

Re: '98 V70 Serpentine Belt Tensioner Rattle
I use a 3/4" square galvanized pipe plug procured at Home Depot, etc. The thread diameter is probably 1". I grab the threads with a vise grip pliers. Insert the square end into the tensioner, rotate to release tension. Use an Allen key or other small gauge rod to lock the tensioner in the released po...
