Re: Clunk from automatic transmission when going R
Are the two parts connected with a bolt on the original part or is there some rivet or pin that can’t be removed?
When ordering the two parts separately i guess you don’t get the connecting axle so can you take it from the original part?

Clunk from automatic transmission when going R
Can’t seem to find out what this clunc sound is when going to R. I have replaced the axle bolts, tightened them, changed drive axle on the left side. Still there is the metallic clunc after R has been engaged. This means there is first the small thump when the gear engages and then half a second lat...

Re: V50 roof rail installation
Well i could have bought them from the local volvo dealer but i got them used from ebay. I think they were like 300€ from volvo dealer. Paid 80€ for rails and an extra set of ready cut trims. I had the idea that i would put the rails on when i need and otherwise run without them but as the swapping ...

Re: V50 roof rail installation
Well i haven’t started yet as i appears it is not so easy as the instructions suggest. I am mostly afraid of breaking the clips and or the trim as it seems to be very hard in place. I’ll do it when i can assure the availablity of clips. https://accessories.volvocars.com/InstallationInstruction/Docum...

V50 roof rail installation
Hi, trying to put on rails on my v50. I have the official instruction on how to remove the roof trims before doing so. The instructions tells to pull them outwards with fingertips and then lift them out. This seems to be impossible as they dont move anywhere by hands. Has anybody done this snd if so...

Only to come back...
I have now put new axle bolt, greased the hub/axle but still there is the clunk. How much can you tighten the axle nut safely, now it is 35nm +90degrees +45degrees with the new bolt
