Update - went and fired her up earlier today and checked fuel pressure at rail which was solid 55 psi. car began to idle rough after 15 min or so but never stalled out this time. revved it up a few times to try an set off engine light, eventually got codes for front and rear o2 sensors on both banks...

Actually gonna use b6294t head with b6284t cams and cam cover to basically delete dual vvt. Gonna use b29 exhaust manifolds/turbos with b28 charge air pipes and b28 intake manifold.

Im using the 2000 s80 t6 head with original cams and intake manifold but with the b6294t exhaust manifolds and turbos. The downpipes are different, however the turbos flanges still line up with the s80 down pipe. About your concern, if intake cam solenoid is blocked/unplugged the cam WILL stay in 0 ...

I appreciate the response, I was able to find out that the heads are actually the same as well as the intake an exhaust manifolds. Different cooling pipes an fresh air pipes however.

Anybody know if the b6294t head will swap to the b6284t block? Also are the intake manifolds the same?
