Perfect!!! I have been asking this question all to myself, and decided to search prior to posting. I have a '98 V70 T5 with the stock 16T, and I found a couple of the 'R' manifolds pn#30637921 that I want to buy so that I may directly replace my stock cracked one. It should bolt right up, correct???

Update: So that knocking has definitely gone once its warmed up and running. I've already went ahead to purchase an exhaust manifold gasket along with a V70R manifold...Found a couple under 120.00 so I'm purchasing one and I already catalogued cams, piston, block for my stage 3. Here's the vid ...

Update: So I left it running for about 15 minutes, and afterwards, that knocking sound is not heard anymore. Could it be exhaust related that it expands possibly at the exhaust manifold? I've started though having a plan b, c and d. Plan b, buy a used engine. Plan c, have the engine rebuilt or plan ...

Yup, mine has the same symptoms and this will be the first area to check. I've been reading the past 4 hours on what it can possibly be and your post may have my solution....here's my clip

No, which I hope its not internal. I'm checking for any exhaust leaks by the turbo, and inspecting the belts as well.

On start-up it sounds eerily similar to the rod knock my S70 T5 had, but after that, I don't know... It's not as harsh

Thank you all for your input and suggestions. I'll be inspecting the belts and do further diagnosis, and will update on my findings, if any. I love driving my Wagon and will do all I can to keep it on the road.
