How do I remove the Motronic board from the casing?
Greetings! I bent a pin on my newly upgraded 4.4 ECU and despite having bent it back, I no longer have 5 volt reference to several sensors. I figure there's a broken trace on the underside of the board which I could fix, but I can't figure out how to remove it from the case. I already have the shell...

S70 center console in an 850?
The center console in my 94 850 wagon is beat to hell. Someone nearby is parting out a 98 S70 sedan and I was thinking of grabbing the center console if it is compatible. Does anyone know? In addition, would be master window switch switch over from his card to mine? Thanks!

Re: 1994 850 Turbo slipping transmission under hard acceleration
Have you checked the transmission fluid? Also a pro tip... never use Firestone Complete Auto Care for ANYTHING unless you're just buying a battery there. Those guys have no idea what they're doing. I've had countless bad experiences there at multiple locations, whether it was me or a family member ...

1994 850 Turbo slipping transmission under hard acceleration
A few days ago I was trying to replace the wheel bearings on my 850. Before I bought the car the previous owner had both front CV axles replaced at a Firestone Auto Care place. As I found out, the check who we installed things must have put the axle nuts on with an impact gun and without aligning th...

Coolant residue in spark plug tube
A few days ago by 94 850 Turbo tossed the CEL. The codes indicated it was running rich and that cylinder three was misfiring, in addition to the P1310 random misfire. It was about 15k miles since I swapped out the plugs so I figured what the hell. Everything looked ok except cylinder four. The conta...

WTB: 1994 850 turbo wagon ABS pump with TRACS 30639115 (USA)
Hey everyone!
I've got my rear brakes throwing on my ABS light even though new sensor and hubs, while TRACS still works. I've been told this means I need a pump. Most of the ones I'm seeing on eBay and such are without TRACS. Let me know what you have!

Four climate control error codes...Help!
So, I bought my 1994 850 Turbo wagon for $600 and it's got problems, the most pressing being the lack of any climate control functionality. I read out the codes from the doohickey under the door and got four: 1-2-2: outside temperature sensor open circuit or shorted to 12v 1-3-5: No signal from engi...

Re: Anyone ever rebuild a brake caliper?
You need to separate the rotorhalves to hone the cylinder as I’m guessing the cylinder is rusty as well as the piston. Piston will need replacing too, most likely. Most rebuild kits don’t be include either the pistons or the orings in between the caliper halves. It will be a lot faster to get a che...

Anyone ever rebuild a brake caliper?
So, I went to replace my rear pads and rotors and found that my left outer caliper piston is seized in place. I can't budge it even with a c-clamp. I'm kinda broke at the moment but was able to get my hands on the seal kit. Does this sound like it might be repairable? I've only ever rebuilt calipers...
