So today i stopped at the local pick a part and pulled a CEM from a 01 S60. it wasn't the same part number as my CEM but same type. put relays back in, plugged it in, hooked up battery and everything came back to life. it wouldn't turn over but i'm assuming because it needs to be programmed. I'm thinking it wasn't anything to do with the lock either. I had messed with the lock before and it still ran fine. I get the vida this Friday so ill waotand see what that says.

Yep. I'm just off rt. 79 between Watkins and Ithaca.
I ordered a a Volvo vida so we will see what that says. Son is is in auto Tec. At boces. And I been working on cars forever but no volvos so this is good learning experience for both of us. We aren't in a big hurry cause he has my C70 to drive.
