Did you ever figure out what was going on? I'm having the same exact problem with my 2004 XC70, p2188, worse after parking with car facing downhill. I replaced the MAF, and it went away for about 2 weeks then came back. And if I disconnect the battery the problem goes away for a couple hours then ...
