Thank you for your reply.

I have not been able to locate a workshop manual for the car snd looking online I cannot find information about the fuel injector relay location. I guess it is in the engine compartment somewhere...

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Dear abscat, Thank you for your reply, most appreciated. I apologise for the omission, I did check the fuel pressure but forgot to add it to the list. As I say, it actually runs for a few seconds, then the dash gage lights get a bit brighter as the engine cuts out so I am leaning towards an electric...
