Re: Program remote locking 850t

Looks like I can program multiple fobs, then? I will give the new one a try hope it doesn't screw up the working one!

Program remote locking 850t

Just picked up an "extra" remote locking key fob, the one I have works fine. Can I program so that both work? The FCC and other numbers match. Or do I have to use only one at a time, so to speak? Thanks.

Re: Fresh gas smell revisited. Topic is solved

Yes! After repairing the two broken rubber lines @ the rollover valve, (they were just hanging there), I replaced the fuel filter and voila! all is well, no gas smell, no running rich smell. A little surprised, no CEL ever. No reason to go further at this point. For now I will enjoy odor free fill u...

Re: Fresh gas smell revisited. Topic is solved

First finding is two broken lines to the rollover valve, so I will replace fuel filter, repair the broken lines. This is vicinity of strongest gas odor. Next I will look @ the fuel pump lines through the hatch in the back. Go from there. Thanks!

Re: Fresh gas smell revisited. Topic is solved

Did a little searching. Still not clear on what specifically to look at first. Would prefer that to be the simplest things, of course, but am prepared for bigger things to come. Sounds likely to be in the evap system somewhere, though. And car does runs rich. First, path of least resistance thing to...

Fresh gas smell revisited. Topic is solved

Subject is 96 855t, 250+ k miles. Just had injectors cleaned (Mr. Injector), replaced FPR with new Bosch oem, haven't changed the filter yet, have no idea how old it is. Strong smell of raw gas ? getting worse? if you stand mid way down the vehicle on the passenger side. It's worse after a run and t...

I have a set of low miles (less than 50k) genuine Volvo front calipers for 850t, PM me. VA car, very clean. Reasonable!

New OEM filter enroute. What's the procedure for removing the fan if I need to do that? Can I get in there enough to actually clean? Never been in there (obviously).

Re: Swamp smell when a/c on.

That would be the place to start, will take a look. It's a genuine Volvo I pinched from a salvage yard. Haven't dried it out recently, or ever replaced so that's an easy one. Anyone spray bleach, other cleaner through the ac fan opening? Or something...??

Swamp smell when a/c on.

850t 96, when on Auto smells like a swamp for a few minutes, then clears. Wondering what to clean, and how to get to it. Also, probably not related, exhaust smell in the cabin when on Auto. Thanks! BTW I should add doubt any drain lines are plugged up. Just cleaned and checked everything last spring...
