98 saffron c70 coupe

Very good and reliable car. 2.3 hpt car. In the last ten thousand miles it's had new tires, timing belt and water pump, completely new front suspension, pcv system, and new brakes all around. A couple of upgrades that have been done were side marker lights were added as well as the egg crate grill. ...

Re: Oil leak on exhaust

Thanks for all the replies. Yeah the turbo side is completely dry other than the normal oil seepage that's always been there. The back of the motor is completely dry though except for where it's seeping around from the passenger side. Oh well, looks like it's time for the timing belt job. I'm guessi...

Re: Oil leak on exhaust

Thanks for the replies. Already checked under the spark plug cover. Completely dry. Like I said, the complete pcv system was already replaced less than a year ago. I can look under the car and see the oil running around from the passenger side of the engine and onto the exhaust. The engine is comple...

Oil leak on exhaust

Noticed a burning oil smell when setting in the car with it running for more than a minute or so. I looked under the car and it appears to be coming from the passenger side of the engine. I took the timing cover off and noticed a little pool of oil down toward the bottom of the timing cover. It does...

Re: S70, N/A, 5-Speed: Sporadic low speed wheel noise + sudden flash of ABS/TRACS light... Topic is solved

First, that's a really old battery. That might be somewhere to start. It could also possibly be a loose ground. When the weight of the car shifts forward it could possibly be pulling a wire somewhere. The symptoms you describe could possibly be related, or it might be a coincidence.

Re: Leak at 6 Gallons

This might be way out in left field but...it is possible it could be the fuel sending unit making the gauge act funny. My c70 was doing this a few months ago. Once the tank got down to around 1/3 of the way full it would sometimes show empty. I would be driving along with the gauge on about 6 gallon...

Glue for sunroof metal rails

I am looking at gluing the metal rails back onto the front and rear edges of the sunroof. Is there anyone out there that has done this before and can tell me what the proper bonding material would be for this?

Thanks
