Re: No reverse lights and turn signals or hazards

I went back and found the wiring harness on the hazard switch completely off. My signals are working again, also I took apart the ignition switch and cleaned it with deoxit contact cleaner. I checked for for voltage at the power wire at the radio and no power is getting to it. I really don’t know wh...

Re: No reverse lights and turn signals or hazards

I went ahead and looked for the overload relay but could not find one. All I found was a power supply A and power supply B. I also checked the big 50A fuses under the hood and I noticed that my radio does not turn on as well. I checked for voltage across the fuse labeled (cruise, backup lights and tu...

Re: 2004 S60 non turbo timing belt hex key window

I watched robert’s and peppermint’s YouTube videos and I think got right this time?? I did the following: 1) I routed the belt around the all the pulleys making sure the timing marks didn’t move with use of a IPD cam locking tool. 2) Rotate the hex key window counterclockwise to 11 o’clock to fully ...

Re: 2004 S60 non turbo timing belt hex key window

153E8683-DEDE-45F4-9A76-E87E4EABD7AD.jpeg Ok so I watched Robert’s video, I guess where I am confused is when everything is all done where should the hex window be facing. Maybe I am wording it wrong, by moving the hex window counterclockwise you are removing tension and it makes sense that it woul...

2004 S60 non turbo timing belt hex key window

Hello everyone: I just got a 2004 S60 non turbo and I am doing the timing belt kit on my car. I am really confused about the mechanical tensioner on what position the hex key window is supposed to face before tightening down the center bolt. From what I can gather It depends on which year and engine...

Timing Belt Marks Keep Moving

[ Hello everyone, I have a 1997 850 and I can’ t keep the timing marks to stay put. I first aligned the marks on the crank and then the cam sprockets right on the money and lock the cams with my iPd tool. When I assembled all the new parts (idler, pump, tensioner), I then wrap the belt around everythin...
