Re: Could my axles be my problem ?

Have you looked at the right side motor mount? I was driving my buddy's 99 v70 today and was getting vibrations at all different rpm's. Took the passenger side wheel off and pulled back the liner. There was NOTHING left of the rubber part of the mount. It was completely metal on metal. Might want to...

Re: lower control arm

Well the problem started up again last night not long after I took it for a test drive. I then saw your response about the bump stops and tried that. Hasn't done it all day.

Thanks Neil

Re: lower control arm

The part was a lemforder. From what I found online the amount of movement I was seeing is fairly normally. I sprayed it with some silicone spray and problem solved.

Thanks

lower control arm

Got a bit of a weird problem. I replaced the whole front suspension on my c70 about 4-5 months ago. A couple of months ago the passenger side suspension started creaking when I turned to the left almost full lock. I finally figured out this afternoon what it is. I a friend turn the wheel while I wat...

Re: Sluggish off the line and worse in hot weather

This is probably not it since you said it started when you swapped the engines but when I first purchased my c70 it was much more sluggish then I knew it should be. I did a drain and fill on the transmission and realized that it was about two quarts low. filled it up to proper level with new fluid a...

Re: abs module

Ok, all of the wiring checks out. They're all in the 1100 range. Does that mean the module?

Thanks

Re: abs module

One other question. Lets say that the sensors were dirty and I cleaned them. If that was actually the problem I thought the lights would turn off by themselves, but from reading the article it sounds like I would have to have the faults cleared.

Re: abs module

Ok, started testing the abs sensors. With the key on one of the wires going to each sensor should have voltage correct? I tested both wires going to each sensor with the key on and neither of them had any voltage. The plot thickens.

Thanks

Re: abs module

Nope, no butt connectors. Soldered them back together. By the way, the module wasn't supposedly rebuilt by you Matty. It was supposedly rebuilt by BBA. I just wish they stood behind their products as well as you do. They wouldn't do a return because I didn't purchase it from them. It still has their...

Re: abs module

So I should check for voltage and each wheel sensor. I'm guessing only one wire will have voltage going to it since it works like a loop? I guess I can check the rear ones where they plug into the main harness? I checked the fuses and they were good.

Thanks
