tranny swap on S70 from auto to manual

Post by guest »

Hey, I have a friend who did a tranny swap on his nissan 240sx and I have really been wanting to go to manual on my 1999 s70. If my friend is willing to help me, should he be able to help me even though he swapped on a nissan? Or will he have no idea since Volvos and Japanese cars are allot differerent? Also, how much money am I looking at spending if I do it myself and not go to a shop which will charge labor? Thanks!

If done yourself, it'll cost you around $1500. Call VolvoSaabparts.com. They have all the parts needed.
