Question about S70 antenna replacement

Post by Valis »

Hi,

I think my problem is with the mast, considering that when I turn the ignition I hear a sound like a motor working but the antenna doesnt go up.

I got a new mast to put in, but the antenna won't pull out like other people have described. I turn the ignition, take off the bolt, but the thing doesnt seem like it wants to budge at all...any tips or insight on this?

If down all the way you may need to pry the top upward before beeing able to grab and pull it out. remember to note which way the teeth are pointing to correctly install the new mast.

If the antenna was bent when it last went down it will take a lot of forse to pull up.
