1999 volvo s70 transmission problems? Topic is solved

have a 1999 volvo s70 glt. it has a check engine light on and the flashing arrow lite is on. been told internal control module problem. codes were p0605 and p1618. i don.t want to be taken can anyone help me with some information on this problem.

Wow, that's a new one. All I could suggest is clearing the codes, pulling the ECU out and putting it back in, making sure that it is making a solid connection. If that doesn't solve the problem you may want to check out car-part.com and start searching around for ECU's from '99 or '00 S70's.
