infamous door pop on 850 Topic is solved

So I have read about others who have had the infamous door "pop" The door LOOKS fairly easy to remove, is it? What about the electrical wiring, is there a plug in between the door and mainframe? and does anyone know what size the hex nut is on the hinges??

The door pop is a result of the torc screw in the middle bracket getting or already loose. The bracket can also break away from the body of the car. A very good Volvo tech imformed me of this while checking over my purchase of my used 1995 850. He told me to watch out for this and always keep the screw tightened up.
Also he stated that one could weld back te bracket if it does end up breaking away from the door. So a confident tech should be able to help you out, as this is a common problem.

Remember to not lean on the door or swing the door open to prevent this in the future.

the bracket is definitely broken but thanks for the heads up on the hex screw
