??? - A/C - Low Pressure Line

Post by Nat »

I was having trouble with the A/C and found out the Evaporator was bad. I understand it's a chore with all of the labor to replace that, and already my estimate is up to $1200. But in the meantime, they found out that my low pressure line needs to be replaced. They said they had to order it and it would be a few days and that it would cost $295. I am in no way familiar with A/C systems and prices. Is this an outrageous price? I've been doing some research and and found lots of A/C hoses on the net which sell for around $150 but none of which are actually titled "low pressure line". I'd appreciate any info you can give me. Thanks! :?
