ABS/Track Light comes on

Post by Anita »

After replacing both the sensors and the computer the ABS/Track light stills comes on. What else could be wrong with it? :(

I have the same problem but I notice its intermittent and that when this happens the speedo meter and odometer dont read. I suspect faulty linkage or sensor mis reading.

usual problems with 850 is always wiring/connectors. I noticed the wiring/connectors/wiring harness does not last compared with japanese cars.

a lot of people spend a lot of money on sensors etc when the problem is always connectors and or wiring itself. Intermittent problem is always wiring. Having said that some people have encountered micro-fractures pf PCB giving intermittent problem.

Since sensor and computer is new then problem has got to be the connectors and wiring. This actually means that the previous sensors and computer could jolly well be working.

If u own a volvo, always take back the old parts, usually it is still working.

AND forget about troubleshooting the wiring, just cut it out and leave it there and lay new wiring again. Save time and the old wiring is too weak already to be of any use
