When driving on a bumpy or rough surface, I can hear some 'rattling' coming from the front right wheel area. Any ideas what the prob is? Thanks guys.

I had a similar problem on my '93 850. The sway bar pillar block bushings were worn out causing a clunk/clunk every time a hit a hole or a dip. I cannot say for sure that you have the same, but it is worth a look.

I had the same problem on my V70 (2000 new style) 100K miles. Remedy for mine was to replace the shock absorber which seems to get wear in the piston - not cheap on the new models though !

I have the same problem. I had the car on a lift to see what was loose and could not see anything. However, if it is the bushing or the shock absorber, it does seem quite feasible. How much did it cost to get it repaired?

I had the Volvo dealer check it out and it turned out to be a broken front right strut mount bushing which allowed the shock absorber to hit something to make the clunk sound when hitting a bump. $153 price tag.
