I have an intermittent electrical problem that my mechanic has been unable to track down.

About every couple of weeks, my radio stops playing, then the warning lights start flashing while relays trip multiple times, then the engine begins to missfire. After about 10 secs everything returns to normal and works fine until the next event.

Any ideas on what to check?
