850 CD Changer Installation

Post by dcshaw »

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with the installation of an OEM 6-CD Changer in an 850 GLT Sedan. I've got all the parts and wiring. Before I start, is there anything I should look out for? Also, I was hoping for the best way to route the wiring from the stereo to the trunk. Thanks!

For whatever it may be worth, the 6disc changer on my '94 850 Wagon is installed in the glove box -- no need to run wires to trunk/rear of vehicle. It works well as long as you don't mind losing most of the Glove Box space. Have fun.

Thanks, I'll check that out! The dealer just told me it would cost $340 to run the wiring!! I don't think so.
