V70 Drive shaft vibration damper

V70 Drive shaft vibration damper

I have a 2001 V70 UK model RHD.
There is a vibration damper fitted to the LH (nearside) drive shaft which rubs on the vertical strut connecting the lower wishbone to the anti roll bar when on full lock. Looks like a design problem to me. Has anyone else experienced this?
