Window and cruise control fuses...

Post by Hockeyguy »

I would sure appreciate any help you fellas could give me. I bought a 1998 S70 GLT. The power window on the passenger side and the cruise control are not working. I looked to the fuse panel first to try and avoid a costly repair, but there are no labels for either item on the inside panel. Does anyone know which fuses would control these two? Thanks so much for the help!

My owners manual says #28 is for cruise, heated rear window, seat belt reminder light, bulb failure waring sensor, and shiftlock.

It also says that windows are part of an automatic circuit breaker located in the fuse box and it does not normally need to be replaced, but it's #37.

I hope your box has numbers!

Get back to us if it's not these fuses.

Thanks so much, I'll give #28 a try, but my panel only goes up to #36, so I don't know about that window fuse #37. I appreciate the quick response!

In the manual there's 4 special fuses, and the window fuse is one of them as I spoke about in the post above. I haven't seen my fuse box in a while so I can't comment, but the 4 are denoted as seperate from the rest in the manual's graphic... so in other words, I'm not surprised you don't see them. They're probably found somewhere else on the car.
