S40 Headlight Problems Topic is solved

I have a 2000 S40 with only 28,000 miles and the adjustment mechanisim is broken on both head lamp assemblies. The solution is 2 new head lamps at $400 each. I've never had to replace a headlamp on any car, is this a problem with S40's? How had is it to replac them myself? It look like you have to take off the bumper, is that right? Thanks!

It looks this is not a repair job for those without experience taking the bumper off.

if you consider yourself a little mechanically inclined, you can do it.
