2001 v70 t5 immobilizer problem - no ignition Topic is solved

We recently purchased a 2001 V70T5 (used) - 85K miles - twice now - within a two-wk time span, we put the key in the ignition to start and nothing happens (other than lights come on, etc. - so battery is fine) - service person said could be a security / immobilizer problem, but couldn't repeat the problem; could it be connection to ignition?
