Could you please help me. I have just recently bought a remote control for my 850 with alarm and central lock (built 1993). The remote control is mostly gray with a small black panel that covers the batteries. It has only one button and a small red LED. In the car there is a small black box attached near the windscreen. It has one button on it and in total 5 LEDs. Three of them are smaller and show the marks: I, II and III. The other two seem to indicate the status of the Alarm System.
It appears to be the first series of the alarm system. Since my Volvo came with missing handbooks I have absolute no clue how to program the remote control.
