Got the battery cable resolved, now getting a P0340 cam sensor error.
Car running ok, but cold starting is taking about 5 seconds of cranking. , vs the 1/2 second before.
I’ll sort out if it is sensor or wiring by troubleshooting today. Have spare for swap. I’m going to examine wiring carefully as I was fussing with the loom a lot while I was doing the battery cable.
I had a couple of idle stalls while I was doing the cable, so the sensor may have been going out then.

Well, one of the short ones.
Either I pulled it or the connector is no longer locking and shook free, but I found the cam sensor loose and disconnected.
Plugged in , cleared codes, and problem solved
Cranking time now 0.5 second as before
I’ll zip tie it when the wind comes under 25 mph

Our all-purpose excuse for when things didn't go as planned on the boat was "High winds and heavy seas."
