1998 S70 top trim Topic is solved

I removed the entire trim on the drivers side.
Both plastic ends are intact. The rubber strips on the outside and the inside are in good shape except for one spot that I can use silicone adhesive to tidy up.
So, Per the images where do I go from here? Do I retain both of the rubber strips, or keep the outside and leave a small on the inside rail?
Does anyone have images of the process - that would be awesome?
Hold my hand a little bit here, lol.

So, I gave it a go although it was rather time consuming.
I used an exato style of a razor blade to remove the center of the rubber trim.
With that done, I worked the blade easily along the edges on each side.
There is a tiny groove along the aluminum where the aluminum meets the outer rubber which allows a cleaner look.
A hair dryer was my friend because some of the factory glue was really difficult to work with.
Additionally, finger nail polish removal help clean up the trim as I went along.
As you see in the images, it is close for taping off and multiple misting w/matte black paint.
That is all pretty good, however I do have an issue I need some ideas about.
Some of the rubber on the windshield part of the rubber where the trim meets the cowl is kinda f' up. Is there a rubber repair product that might help? I was thinking of something like a body filler for rubber to clean it up.

Thanks for the update. Masking off the rubber seems like it would be fairly tedious.

850oldschool, the whole process is tedious and I will be taping it off and painting this afternoon. Fortunately, I am not putting a time frame on this project. I learned a long time ago when you hurry or absolutely have to get it done by early the next am, you f' it up. I will drive the MGB-GT to work today.
I tested doing the right side this morning with the trim still on the car - we will see how that works.

I used a little rubberized gray epoxy to hold down the rubber trim that started to lift up.

Ok. here is the result.
I was stunned how easy it was to reclip the trim.
i was afraid I had bent the trim and it would be a pita.
Not perfect but a helluva a lot better.
I matte blacked everything and needed no adhesive because there was no peeling.
On to the right side which i am doing while installed.
