Looking in my driveway, I must be JP Getty. All I need is an R template and a can of spray paint

I have no issues with being $10k into a P80! Pot would be meeting kettle!abscate wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025, 05:16melmaclifeform wrote: ↑09 Aug 2025, 21:16 Good lord, almost $10k for a charity auction car? Somebody was on the pipe while bidding.![]()

I get it. The MGB is too small for sleeping
For the documentation, the trick is to look at the original title that you get from the auction house and try to contact the previous owner. Worked for me. I didn't get many documents but I got the original window sticker, so I'm thrilled.melmaclifeform wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025, 16:08 I have no issues with being $10k into a P80! Pot would be meeting kettle!
I would never, ever, however, spend $10k on an R with the wrong wheels and bumper. That's just maddening. And at an auction without a lot of real documentation. Yowza!
Agreed, and good eye. Those front bumpers are not something I see for sale every day, and if that's swapped, what else is weird on it?melmaclifeform wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025, 16:08
