Got out my dremel; unfortunately there's not enough room to actually make a decent cut onto the side of the sensor to try to shorten it!
Am trying the acetone/ATF mixture now, I'll wait a few hours and see if the sensor will move using the shortened version of the 22 mm OXS removal tool/socket. I have a hacksaw blade here somewhere!

The home-made mixture(ATF and acetone) to break loose rusted nuts and bolts did not work
I even lathered on brake fluid but, again there was no movement of the OXS.
I have begun to reassemble the turbo hoses, after cleaning the main turbo hose - gosh that was disgusting (inside and out)! And then cleaning out the parts of the turbo where the hoses attach.
Plan on driving the car to a repair garage tomorrow or Friday depending on what's available. Should I be concerned about the remnants of ATF/brake fluid getting too hot/smoking? Should I have a small extinguisher available?
