That's painful to look at. I can just imagine the crusty crunching while trying to grab those components.

The 850 turned over 65,000 miles today and finished at 65215, a total of 255 miles through Glencoe. The weather started dry but it soon turned to a rather wet afternoon

Well Sveedy is finally back up and running after her burnt valve fiasco. Running beautifully.
I do have a couple of minor issues - The ABS light is now on. It wasn't when I parked it some months ago. I'm not sure what could have happened with it sitting. And the regulator that is located on the right side of the fuel rail seems to have a small drip. Hoping that is a part that is still available.
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.

Drove the 1998 T5 Manual 1300 miles round trip from Sacramento to St. George Utah. No problems, 25-28 MPG driving 72-78 mph and mostly at 4000 ft elevation with many passes at 6500-7700. Hit 159k miles on the way there. Thought I used 3/4 qt on way there, so added a full qt for drive back thinking it would more than burn up the extra, but when I got home it was 1/4th high on dipstick.
