Replacing the engine wiring harness 1993 850

How hard is it for a regular dude with average mechanical skills to swap out the engine wiring harness on a 1993 850? I am having some troubles that are driving me nuts and I have a feeling that just putting a new harness in will save me months of headaches. Other than labeling everything to insure everything is reconnected correctly what is involved?

I replaced the engine harness on my 1983 240 many years ago. I tried to work from one end to the other as much as that is possible. Do a good wash down before you start. Get the front raised on blocks or jack stands because some of the harness likely will need access from the bottom. Take many photos of wire positions, routing, and attachments. Of course, label everything. Clean some more after you remove the old harness. Replace any wire loom while you are replacing harness.
I also inspected all the wiring on my 2001 V70 when I thought I had I had a problem. Work slow and methodically.
