Are there any known issues for this area?

Hair spray causes the roach to really slow down and easier to catch. Easier to clean up and smells much better than long lasting odor petrol-chemical bug sprays.

I did not know roaches had hair, good to know.

My rear window wiper stopped working a while ago and I decided to see what was up. Removed the whole assembly and I could tell the part where it goes through the window was stuck. Motor in the background, the plate was coming loose but I put it back and hammered out the rivets again-

After several heating sessions and oil I got it loosened, then I hammered it out.

After some work with sandpaper on both the bore and pin it's looking a lot better. Yeah it's corroded in parts, but I greased it up good and put it back, it just went back by hand without force. Then I put an O-ring behind the C-clip and put some vulcanizing rubber tape over it all to help it keep the debris out.

It was dark (16:30) when I put it back so I got no photos, but it works again now.

I plugged my scan tool in and I got code P0340 cam sensor, which mine is the flat circle type. located on the exhaust cam behind the distributor. I checked the wiring, the plugs didn’t crumble, did it really just up and quit?

Not specific to that issue but the contact area of the pins can develop oxidation over time, and a lot of the time it's oxidation that is the same color as the metal

It's always a hairy situation unliving them.

Switched out the Driver Window switch with one I got at the junkyard. Successfully removed and replaced the top cover and each of the 6 buttons with the ones from my original as they were nicer to the replacement unit without damaging! Good to go.

Here is what a one week leak looks like ....

Yeeks - rear pads down to 5mm, spec??
