Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Well I guess we can keep our fingers crossed that Scotty will man up, have an explanation, and make things right.

Let me know Ollie. I travel to the uk monthly do could just bring it over. Free to youDub24 wrote: ↑12 Feb 2026, 08:42I have a 1998 Volvo V70 t5 with a grey steering wheel that's past it's prime. I was looking for a black one.
I'm currently in communication with a chap in the UK through Facebook. He is involved with the Volvo owners club on there and has come verified as honest to me.
Apparently the C70 2002 to 2005 wheel with fit my car which is what he has. I'm waiting for some good pictures to ascertain the condition of the wheel. If it turns out to be not good enough ,I have an alternative plan.
I got a price from a company in the UK to send my old one over for a recover in black leather. All in it will cost about 230 euros delivered back.
You are very good to offer to send me one baby the time I cover postage not to mention import duties vat etc it will probably be a similar price.
I really appreciate your offer though

Lagos, Nigeria IP address … your money is long gone. Only hope is contact your money transfer company to see what they can do and potentially lock their account.

That is so so very kind of you. I don't know whst to say except thank you and I will make a donation to a charity of your choice.
By any chance do you a black steering wheel in your collection. If you do that would be amazing.
I insist on paying the postage from the UK to Ireland. Once your itinerary for your next UK trip is finalised let me know. I will PM my address to you and if you could PM your Revolut or PayPal details so I can pay for the postage.
Once again thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.

Well chaps
I decided to google about revolut and what they do about fraud on their accounts. I followed the prompts and lodged a complaint through their website at approximately 1pm.
The process was painless and they looked for info such as emails ,forum correspondence and of course a screen shot of the transaction.
Lo and behold I received the full amount refunded at 18.20 pm.
I think from now on I'm going to conduct all my future payments through revolut.
Again thanks to everyone for their support and help.
