To be honest, I just thought it was a joke unrelated to anything I mentioned. Now that you say that, I understand that probably comes from some sort of movie. Is it Robocop or an even older movie? Science fiction for sure.

2/16/26 Teaser Update-

Tomorrow I will be beginning the teardown of the front end. I dont have a smartphone or camera at the moment, so likely unable to get a pic tomorrow. I am having some trouble paying for either one. But Ill do my best to get yall some pics. I might also go get a special document for the 'trailer' so it doesnt get towed away on behalf of landlord for having a nonrunning 'car'. Ill update tomorrow or Wednesday.

Well first real trailer related task 90% done. Front end cut off. So tired. Carefully scroll through the Pictures of progress below. Junk on trailer. Spent couple hours sketching ideas. I got a kick out of the what looked like crookedness when I finished cutting it off and the front fell forward. I remembered the pickup truck frame break fail.

Just wow! I'm exhausted! Here are the results from today's progress. I am going to find out if I can get the driver door handle to fit both rear passenger doors. If so I will have complete key access. I might look at buying a couple extra Volvo keyed tumblers. I hope that's not expensive. The windshield reflected the first airbag chuckit. Of course Thor's fist was so good, he didn't need his hammer for the windshield .

Besides still having not practiced welding, the ONE thing of this whole project that will have me questioning my willingness for this project will be welding the wall. Not the 2" x2" tubing or the tongue. The wall sheet metal. I need to practice tomorrow after removing the rear half of the exhaust. Oh wait, that's it. I'll go pick up needed welding supplies, trim the exhaust hangers to drag the piping out, then cut and practice welding. Maybe I'll practice on a flat piece like tthe muffler too. I MUST get it down pat otherwise it'll be a leaky trailer and that wouldn't mix with a 30A power station.....

That's what I thought and Iknew at least one MVS frequenter would comment on that. Edit: What I remembered is that abscate made that comment on the bottom corner cross section and I knew HE would be the frequenter to comment on the top corner too.

You arent going to trailer it on those Perfo/Columba wheels are you?

Find some automotive body shop seal sealer. This is used to seal weld seams at the factory and the body shops. It may come in a plastic bag and you need to reuse a calking tube to dispense as needed. Squeeze out a sealer bead and smooth with a putty knife.
This will reduce worry about incomplete welds.

No. So those wheels are factory to the 1995 850 I currently have. They are going back onto the 850, which my mom is going to buy for my sister, who is a beginner driver.

I am feeling a bit financially stressed. I could use a wheel sale. I don't know if you remember, but you were going to buy the other set of wheels off of me. Are you still interested in them?

These are the two I am looking at using for the trailer but I'd prefer to get 15s not 16s.
