I have done very good work

2 hours ( book 3.2) for a heater core on Karla Kat. Solved coolant loss problem. Original heater core. That’s a tough job for a 65 year old guy under dash in driveway and snow.

I can assure you it is harder for a round 65 year old guy, no matter what the weather! :o :lol: :lol:

Well done sir. Most impressed.

We have been basking in sunlight and +C temps for the last 2 weeks. The world returns to normal next week with highs in the mid- minus teen C and lower overnight. Also we are throwing in just a dusting of 2-4" of snow just so it can hide the thin layer of remaining random ice.

Man you guys have it rough. I complain all the time about my rust free 65 degrees here in Texas.

Remove exhaust nut. Loosen withspanner. Remove with fingers.

Our exhaust nuts don’t even look like nuts. Heat, magic oil, impact, fluted socket, Dremel, angle grinder/new stud. Repeat 10x

Ouch..my hands hurt this morning

I just let my milwaukee power ratchet do all the work :lol:

I have invested in several power tools now to the point my compressor is seldom used if at all. So much easier with cordless stuff.

Mind you, on Volvos you can only use it on 2/3 or 3/4 bolts. They always have the Volvo mantra of making one fixing as inaccessible as possible, even with hand tools.

Whipped off an ECT chamge on Evita, tough cold start. Still have to figure out why coolant level on Karla isn’t registering

After 3 weeks of Calgary summer (-10C) 5c is tropical. I might even get bdub to play outside…

T5 Elizabeth battery getting weak in cold? Can I make it through winter to get one more year out of it?

For me it's not worth the trouble trying to eek out more time when a battery nears the end of it's life. How old is it? How was it maintained?
