99 V70XC : Flashing Arrow TCM-0039

Hi,

I started the car yesterday and warmed it up as usual. As soon as I put the auto transmission in gear, the arrow began flashing and the MIL came on. When I pressed the throttle, it felt like it was in a higher gear. I kept driving and the acceleration improved a little. When I got back home, I hooked up the battery to a charger until fully charged. Connected it to VIDA and got TCM-0039 and ECM-530D. I erased the code but as soon as I put the transmission in gear, flashing arrow and MIL instantly comes on.

Do I replace the PNP switch? or is it something else completely?

I followed this...

and so far cleaning the PNP got rid of the flashing arrow, MIL, and taking off in 3rd gear.
