fuel/air mix bad, need help

Post by mahmovic »

Hi to all, I have some problems so if enyone can help please reply...

First I have got 1-2-1 code ( MAF ), changed it with new one.
Nothing has changed with engine, still works like tractor, black smoke goes out, lose of power. When I connect this new MAF engine works perfectly for about 2 sec and then again like tractor and etc ( with old one dies immedately ).... when I press accelerator pedal, engine dies ( MAF connected ) but works same on idle, with or without MAF connected. When I disconnect MAF engine works like tractor ( without this 2 sec normal, at start ) etc but it does not die when I press AP.
Finaly MAF code is gone, but got new one, 4-1-1 (TPS bad voltage...)
Is it possible that TPS couse this????

thanks for advices

Problem was in ressetig ECU memory, when I replased MAF I needed to resset ECU here is procedure :

gnition off !!!
Stick the flylead attached to the cover into A2 socket, Ignition on, press the button next to the led once for about five seconds, release, red LED will light when lift, press the button next to the led again for about five seconds, red LED goes out, Ignition off, keep the flylead attached to the cover into A2 socket Ignition on press button once for a second, ensure codes are cleared or write down code(s) repeat code gathering procedure.

NOTE:

before You resset ECU You must read all codes, withoit dooing this ECU will not resset.
ECU has memory for 3 codes ( failures ), for first code do this :
Stick the flylead attached to the cover into A2 socket, Ignition on, press the button next to the led once for about 1 sec, after reading first code, press button twice ( each time hold it for about 1 sec ) this is for second code, after reading this code, press button 3 times ( each time hold it for about 1 sec ), read the code. ONLY AFTHET THIS PROCEDURE YOU CAN RESSET ECU!!!
